A Diary of Small Things

In everyone's life, even in the darkest places, there is something that brings them happiness. My name is Cliff Cumber, and this is my attempt to find those moments and catalog them day-by-day with a photo, a drawing, a line or two.

If you feel inspired, I hope you'll join me. One moment of joy, every day.

This is my buddy, this is my friend. This weekend he held me in his arms and rocked me to sleep. He does this every weekend. He doesn’t complain. He wants the best for me. He wants me to be comfortable.

He doesn’t get jealous when I wake up and roll over and flip on the TV. No. He’s cool. He understands. He doesn’t get het up when the kids spill things on him or jump on him. It’s all good. He knows he is loved.

This is the couch. This is my buddy. This is my friend.
