A Diary of Small Things

In everyone's life, even in the darkest places, there is something that brings them happiness. My name is Cliff Cumber, and this is my attempt to find those moments and catalog them day-by-day with a photo, a drawing, a line or two.

If you feel inspired, I hope you'll join me. One moment of joy, every day.

I can no longer deny it. Things have, well … thickened … a little around my middle. Now, this could be a result of encroaching middle age. It could be that I lead a sedentary life chained, for most of the day, to a desk. It could be my love for chocolate. In fact, that may be the only reason.

Hmm, well, whatever, I have taken to packing a lunch each day and swearing to eat nothing but what I brought with me. I’ve already eaten the wheat thins and carrots. Here’s my remaining food: a ham and cheese sandwich and a mid-afternoon snack.

We can all afford to be a little healthier.
