A Diary of Small Things

In everyone's life, even in the darkest places, there is something that brings them happiness. My name is Cliff Cumber, and this is my attempt to find those moments and catalog them day-by-day with a photo, a drawing, a line or two.

If you feel inspired, I hope you'll join me. One moment of joy, every day.

Radio 4 is the sound inside my head, even as my accent diminishes. As much as possible, when the computer is free and I have a moment, I live audio stream the station.

My dad was a sort of traveling salesman (to over simplify a tad), and he would often take me out on long drives to his calls. We would listen to Radio 4 and I grew to love it. Just yesterday, I listened to the Radio 4 adaptation of “The Talented Mr. Ripley.” Brilliant.
